A Contemporary Interpretation of the Alsace Village.

Nestled in Khanong Phra, Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima, this Café & Restaurant draws inspiration from the timeless character of the Alsace villages of northeastern France. Reinterpreting the distinctive Colombage architectural style through a contemporary lens, the project creates a destination that celebrates European heritage while offering a memorable hospitality experience.

The architecture is defined by the expressive timber framework that characterises traditional Colombage construction, where exposed wooden structures are paired with natural materials such as brick, stone, and textured plaster. These elements are thoughtfully reimagined to create a refined and authentic architectural identity, while the building's colour palette reflects the warm, muted tones traditionally found throughout the Alsace region.

Designed as a two-storey destination, the building balances timeless craftsmanship with modern functionality. Generous openings invite natural light into the interior, while carefully proportioned spaces create a seamless connection between architecture and landscape.

Surrounding the café, a series of French-inspired gardens extend the guest experience beyond the building itself. Sculptural features, landscaped courtyards, and elegant outdoor seating create moments of discovery and encourage visitors to slow down, explore, and immerse themselves in the atmosphere.

The project is conceived as more than a café it is an architectural destination where European heritage, landscape, and contemporary design come together to create a place of warmth, character, and enduring beauty.
